Maryland Democrats Congratulate Blane Miller III on Winning the 1st Congressional District Democratic Nomination

Maryland Democrats are lucky to have candidates in every race that reflect the districts

The Maryland Democratic Party released the following statement in reaction to Blane Miller III securing the Democratic nomination for the First Congressional District. 

“Congratulations to Blane Miller III on securing the nomination in the First Congressional District,” said Governor Wes Moore. “As a Party, we are committed to leaving no one behind and fighting for every community in our state. That is why this Party leadership will continue to show up and listen to people everywhere and why I know Blane will be a great partner in the work.” 

“I want to commend Blane Miller and Blessing Oluwadare for stepping up and running for office,” said Maryland Democratic Party Chair Ken Ulman. “Our party is lucky to have such diverse candidates that reflect the districts they are running to serve. Blane will fight for working Marylanders across the first district whose voice in Washington is often overlooked.”
